Sydney Mardi Gras 2026
Sydney Mardi Gras is a globally recognized celebration of LGBTQIA+ pride, culture, and community held annually in Sydney, Australia. For this project, I developed a full visual identity for the 2026 event, spanning campaign graphics, merchandise, and event collateral. The design system uses vibrant color, spirals, and star motifs to capture the movement, joy, and energy of the festival.
Branding & Identity
The identity draws inspiration from the vibrant energy of Sydney Mardi Gras and the way music, celebration, and community radiate through the event. Early sketches explored shapes that expand outward like sound waves or ripples in motion. These forms developed into spirals and star elements that create a dynamic visual rhythm throughout the brand system.
